The Central States Water Environment Association (CSWEA) is holding its 29th annual "Conference on the Environment" on Wednesday, November 19 in St. Paul, MN. CSWEA’s mission is to provide a Water Environment Federation (WEF) organization in Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin that offers multiple opportunities for the exchange of water quality knowledge and experiences among its members and the public and fosters a greater awareness of water quality achievements and challenges. The conference features an array of presentations from industry professionals, one such presentation is from Donohue's Leon Downing and Ryan Holzem. The Indiana Water Environment Association (Indiana WEA) is holding its annual conference this week in Indianapolis, IN. The Indiana WEA is dedicated to preserving and protecting Indiana's waterways through educating our members and the citizens of Indiana about the importance of our water environment. The conference spans three days and includes more than 100 booths for exhibitors and a presenter schedule covering areas such as emerging technologies, sustainable solutions, operations & maintenance, and collection systems just to name a few. The following presentations will be given by Donohue staff members:

  • "Maximizing Wet Weather Capacity Through Low Cost Improvements" by Bill Marten (Steve Gress presenting on Bill's behalf)
  • "How Much Selector Zone Mixing Energy is Enough?" by Craig Heisel
  • "CSO Storage & Treatment Facilities: The What, Where, When, Why, & How" by Katherine Merkle
  • "Performance Testing of Old Pumps to Extend Service Life" by Steve Gress
  • "Powering down the Aeration" by Emily Wehmeyer
