America’s favorite pastime set the backdrop for Donohue’s recent weekend outing that was fun for the whole family. We enjoyed tailgating prior to the game with our group that included over 40 Donohue employees, family members, and friends.
The City of Whitewater is currently upgrading its wastewater treatment facility to address aging equipment and infrastructure as well as to enhance wastewater treatment performance. The facility has an average day flow of 1.5 million gallons with a maximum capacity of 11 million gallons per day. To help fund the $20.7 million construction project, the City of Whitewater recently received a $707,500 grant through the Wisconsin DNR’s Clean Water Fund Principal Forgiveness loan program.
Donohue’s Steven Gress, PE was the recipient of the “Consulting Engineer of the Year” award from ACEC Indiana during their recent Annual Recognition Luncheon. Donohue & Associates and the City of Stevens Point received an Engineering Excellence State Finalist Award for the “Brewing a Better Future Together” project from the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Wisconsin. The awards for Engineering Excellence are bestowed upon member firms in recognition of quality engineering achievements. Project entries are judged on the basis of excellence in design, the degree to which the client’s needs are met, as well as benefit to the public welfare and to engineering practices.
